Deep Look: Super Bowl 2026 Guide: Patriots vs Seahawks, Time, Halftime & Ads

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Super Bowl LX will bring the NFL season to a close on Sunday as the New England Patriots face the Seattle Seahawks in a high-profile rematch of their dramatic 2015 Super Bowl showdown.

That earlier meeting ended with one of the most iconic plays in NFL history — a last-second interception at the goal line that sealed a 28–24 Patriots victory. A decade later, both franchises return with new leadership and new quarterbacks.

New Era at Quarterback and Coach

The Patriots are led by 23-year-old quarterback Drake Maye, while the Seahawks turn to 28-year-old Sam Darnold. On the sidelines, New England is coached by Mike Vrabel and Seattle by Mike Macdonald. According to CBS Research, this marks the first Super Bowl in which both teams’ starting quarterbacks and head coaches are in their first or second season with their respective franchises.

When and Where

The game will be played Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. Eastern time.

How to Watch

Super Bowl LX will air nationally on NBC, with Spanish-language broadcasts on Telemundo and Universo. Streaming options include Peacock, NFL+, Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV, and YouTube TV.

Halftime Show: Bad Bunny Takes Center Stage

Six-time Grammy winner Bad Bunny will headline the halftime show just one week after winning album of the year at the Grammys for “Debí Tirar Más Fotos.” The Puerto Rican superstar is expected to bring Latin rhythms and cultural influences to the global stage.

Speculation about guest performers has included names such as Cardi B, Rosalía, and Jennifer Lopez. Bad Bunny previously appeared at the Super Bowl in 2020 during the Jennifer Lopez–Shakira halftime show.

His recent Grammy acceptance speech — in which he criticized immigration enforcement actions by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement — has fueled questions about whether his Super Bowl performance will include political themes.

Other musical performances include Charlie Puth singing the national anthem and Green Day appearing during the opening ceremony.

Super Bowl History for Both Teams

New England is making a record-setting 12th Super Bowl appearance — its first since quarterback Tom Brady left the franchise in 2020. The Patriots have won six Super Bowls and could claim a record seventh title with a victory, surpassing the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Seattle is appearing in its fourth Super Bowl and has one championship, earned in 2014 against the Denver Broncos.

Tickets and Fan Costs

Official tickets for the game, held in Levi’s Stadium’s roughly 68,500-seat venue, sold out quickly, with original prices ranging from about $950 to more than $8,000.

Resale tickets remain available through secondary marketplaces, with prices generally ranging from $4,000 to $60,000. According to Vivid Seats, the median resale ticket price is approximately $7,500.

Super Bowl Advertising Prices

For advertisers, Super Bowl LX remains one of the most valuable marketing platforms in the world. A 30-second commercial spot this year reportedly costs up to $10 million, with average prices hovering near $8 million — reflecting the game’s massive global audience.

Whether fans tune in for football, music, or commercials, Super Bowl LX is shaping up to be one of the most watched and talked-about events of 2026.
